Do you have substantial experience as a CFO? If so, we’d like to talk with you.

BottomLine Growth Strategies is always on the lookout for exceptional CFOs. Especially, those who no longer enjoy fulltime corporate work, but do not wish to start their own businesses.

We are seeking individuals who enjoy variety, enjoy challenge and, most importantly, enjoy helping companies succeed with all their heart.

Requirements:

1. At least ten years experience as a CFO/Controller/Director of Finance, along with CPA and MBA credentials; ideally, operational experience as CFO.

Please note that there are other combinations of experience and education may be acceptable as well.

2. A successful career path that demonstrates increasing responsibilities.

3. A history working with growing companies and of improving the bottom line. Prefer experience with mergers and acquisitions.

4. Exceptional skill in developing budgets and projections, as well as with implementing best practices at the companies in which you’ve worked.

5. Ability to look at a complex situation, size it up and communicate the story the numbers tell.

8. Highly organized, detail-oriented and a big picture thinker. In other words, you love the details, but you don’t get mired in them. We want CFOs who can see the forest AND the trees.

9. Involved in the community.

10. Must be extremely comfortable developing and navigating complex Excel spreadsheets, and also with Word and PowerPoint.

11. Honest and ethical with the references to support it.

12. Excellent people skills; ability to interact well; assertive; active listener.

What it looks like to be a BottomLine guide:

As a BottomLine guide, you will have a portfolio of small- to medium-sized companies, and will act as their CFO Advisor. You will be the key point of contact for each of your client’s finance and accounting needs.

Although we tailor our approach to each client, it is highly common for our guides to have a combination of project oriented work (budgets, cash flow forecasts, pricing analyses, development of loan packages, etc.) and monthly routine work (the financial close, production of a meaningful reporting package to the CEO and/or Board).
